What is Success?
Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

So You Want Success in Life – Right?
First of all we have to differentiate among purpose, aim, goal, target, objective and ambition.
These words are pretty similar and have only subtle difference and in spoken language many people might not be careful enough to use each of the words correctly. Now what are your Aims, Goals, Targets, Objectives and Ambition in life?
Purpose: What you want to achieve when you do something; the reason you do or plan something and the thing you want to achieve when you do it.
Aim: Something you hope to achieve by doing something.
Goal: Something important that you hope to achieve in the FUTURE, even though it may take a long time.
Target: The exact result that a person or organization intends to achieve by doing something, often the amount of money they want to get; a particular amount or total that you want to achieve.
Objective: The specific thing that you are trying to achieve used especially things that have been officially discussed and agreed upon in business politics etc.
Ambition: Something that you very much want to achieve in your future career.
So what are your aims, goals, or ambitions in life? What do you want to achieve? Choose your destination without you will wander.
First of all write down your ambitions in life. Everyday speak them aloud so that they are engraved in your brain.
Choose your goals carefully, which are achievable. Achieve them bit-by-bit, step-by-step. To achieve a big goal break it into small goals.
Plan: To achieve a goal or an ambition you must plan how to make it happen.

A goal without a plan remains just a goal. Many people have visions, intentions, goals, ambitions, dreams which never happen because they are not planned.
You must do the things that enable it usually several things in several steps.
Choose a planning format that you are comfortable with. Your goal, target, ambition should be clear and an outline of what will make your goal happen. Discipline yourself.
Goal Planning Template
1. Write down your aim or vision. Clearly define it.
2. Attach some measures, parameters or standards.
3. Commit to a time scale-even if it is five or ten years away.
4. Then ask yourself and identify: what factors would directly cause the aim/goal to be achieved.
My aim/goal/vision Measures Time scale

Factors which will cause the aim to be achieved Measures Time scale

Hindrances/obstacles on the way How to remove them Time scale

High aim – proper planning – and you are successful

Keep your goals and ambitions to you. Don’t make them public.
